My name is Shawna Nelson. I love playing and watching basketball. I love to watch the Miami Heat play basketball. My wish is to recieve 4 tickets to the Miami Heat game. If I could receive this gift from you guys, this would be a dream come true. In 2010, I was diagnosed with the disease called Cerebelar Ataxia. The disease has left me depending on my family for my everyday living needs. It has been hard but by the grace of God, I am still pushing through. Basketball gives me a promising feeling of hope because of the love and dedication I see in the NBA players face and the way they play.

Utah Jazz Basketball Game

My name is SGT Braden Wayment. I am currently an MP awaiting my medical board from being MEDEVAC'd May, 2011 from Afghanistan. I have PTSD and going in public places is really hard for me. Since my medical evacuation, it's been really hard to get out in public. I also live in Utah and LOVE the Utah Jazz. My wish is that my wife will come with me to a Jazz game in the lower bowl as part of over coming my fear. I've been working with my therapists, and they say that this could be my last step in getting over my fear of public, with the love of the Jazz. Please help me share this with my wife. Winter Classic; Detroit Red Wings v. Maple Leafs

My name is Specialist Joshua Krajewski. My wish is to be able to go to the Winter Classic hockey game featuring the Detroit Red Wings v. Toronto Maple Leafs in Ann Arbor Michigan. I was active duty for just over 5 years, in that time I deployed twice, for 12 months to Iraq, and 15 months to Afghanistan. I joined the Army when I was 17, and my wife(girlfriend at the time)stuck with me through all the deployments and we eventually got married in 2007. We just had our first child this year, he's 4 months old now. Unfortunately, due to my wife's career and education, my 5 years of active duty were spent apart, she was never able to come live with me at the installation. Now that I'm out, life is good, we have a son who is the best ever, I'm continuing my college education, and she is a pediatric ICU nurse.

I am coming home to Minnesota at the end of December for R&R. I am currently deployed in Afghanistan. My wish is to take my family to a Vikings vs Packers game. The only home game I will be there for just happens to be the most expensive game. I dont mind if we have to be sitting in the Nose bleed section I would just like to experience the game live.

Kentucky Wildcats vs. Louisville Cardinals basketball game

My name is James Correll, I’m blessed. I’m currently serving a one year deployment in Afghanistan and from 20 Dec 2012 to 3 Jan 2013, I’ll see my wife and daughter, and visit with my family and in-laws during the holiday season; while on my R&R leave in Lancaster, KY. The Kentucky Wildcats vs. Louisville Cardinals basketball game is on 29 Dec 2012. The game itself is my wish, but to complete my wish I would like go to Louisville, KY on the 28th, stay in the new Marriot Hotel on West Jefferson St., and have an amazing date with my wife. I’ve always wanted to see this rivalry from the lower arena. My wish is to give my wife a break from the family and show her a very small token of my appreciation for everything she has done. She's amazing and deserves more than I could ever give her. This would be an absolutely amazing gift for my entire family. My daughter’s grandparents would get to spend some time with their granddaughter that they haven’t seen in 8 months, and my wife and I would be so appreciative of the short time we could together.

Houston Texans home football game

My name is Stacey Rice. I am 45 years old and I was deployed away from my family 18 months from Oct 31, 2003 until April 2005. I served as a Law Enforcement Specialist in the U.S. Air Force during Desert Storm and was discharged in 1992. When the bombing on 9-11 happened I discussed joining the Army with my wife and we decided that since I felt so strongly about going back into the military then I should go. Even though I had an 8 yr old son and a 2 year old daughter I felt it was my responsibilty to fight once again for my country. I was with the 39th Brigade Combat Team and was attached to the 1st Calvalry in Baghdad, Iraq. My wish is to go see the Houston Texans with my new wife, step son and nephew....ANY home Texans game would be great!!

Dallas Cowboys for Christmas

I am an injured and ill soldier currently on Active Duty in the Community Based Warrior Transition Unit out of Utah. I was injured in Iraq in 2005 while deployed with New York/New Jersey's 42nd ID 250th Signal Battalion on the Convoy Team.My wife, son, and I are Dallas Cowboys fans. I have always wanted to attend a game and would like to take my wife, Janet, and my 12 year old son, Ian, to Dallas for the game against New Orleans on the 23rd of December 2012. It would mean a great deal.

Houston Texans game

My name is 1st lst LT. Ed Guerrero. I have recently returned (Aug 2012)from a tour of duty in Afghanistan. Due to my mission I was unable to stay in one location for too long and missed the entire season last year due to deployment. I would like to take my family to a game and experience it live. My eldest daughter is a Cowboys fan and I'd really like to convert her. My wish is to attend the game on 21 Oct versus the Baltimore Ravens, as my wife's birthday is the 19th and mine is the 23rd. It would be a nice birthday gift for the both of us and the kids. I can attend any game except for 18 Nov. I cannot attend that day due to military duty that weekend with the National Guard.

Dallas Cowboys Game - Eagles v. Cowboys

My name is SFC Moran, Adelina and I have been in the military for 20 years. Seven of those years as Active Navy and the remaining CARNG. I am currently deployed in Afghanistan. My wish is to go see the Dallas Cowyboys play against the NY Giants on 28OCT2012. I will return to the states in September 2012 from this deployment in Afghanistan. This is my 3rd tour, 1 OIF and 2 OEF. I have been married since 2005 and 3 deployments since being married, so in reality I have been deployed more than I have been married. My husband is a Cowboys fan all the way. This may be a Hero's wish, but in reality, my husband is just as much of a hero as I am. He has had to be able to put up with my 3 deployments and take care of the kids. My daughter was 16 when I went on my first deployment, now 22. If it weren't for my husband who I married 3 weeks prior to deployment to take care of her, it would have made things difficult. To grant us this wish would be a dream come true. I will return to the states in September 2012, therfore a game in October against the NY Giants would be great. I would never ever be able to afford this trip if it weren't for Vettix.org (Hero's wish)
